Major Music  Education  Initiatives

Shanghai Community Music Festival

I founded the Shanghai Community Music Festival to create a space where young musicians from different schools and backgrounds could come together to share their passion for music. The festival aimed to make performance opportunities accessible to students with limited exposure to public concerts, fostering inclusion, collaboration, and artistic growth.

Working with local schools and educators, I organized rehearsals, coordinated performances, and guided ensembles through diverse repertoire. I also served as Guest Conductor, leading performances and helping students bring their music to life. The festival became a celebration of connection through music—bringing people together, breaking barriers, and inspiring students to find confidence and joy in performing for their community.

Teaching Assistant at Shanghai Gezhi Junior High School

At Shanghai Gezhi Junior High School, I served as a Teaching Assistant for the school’s string orchestra, supporting rehearsals, sectionals, and concert preparation. Working alongside the conductor, I guided students in developing ensemble balance, phrasing, and musical expression while encouraging collaboration and confidence within the group.
